In celebration of International Women’s Day (Sunday, March 8th) and the amazing, strong women who have helped shape my life, I’m hosting a long pose figure painting/drawing session at my studio with an incredible model. Amy is a competitive CrossFitter, breast/ovarian/cervical cancer fundraiser and activist, tattooed beauty, and mother extraordinaire of four daughters, and we’ve invited her to sit for us for a six hour session!
This amazing event will be a celebratory, relaxed day of painting and music including coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon. Don’t miss the opportunity to paint this emblem of strong womanhood and celebrate feminine strength with your artistic community.
$20 drop-in donation for artists. Tips for the model are encouraged!

12pm - 1pm lunch break (please bring your lunch)
1pm - 4pm pose
*Eleven drawing horses and one easel available. If you plan to paint, we recommend bringing your own setup.

I will be offering a live auction of the drawing pictured here (of our lovely model) during that day with 100% of the proceeds going to Bright Pink, an organization that works to save lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering women to know their risk and manage their health proactively. The auction will be available to all—even those not present!—via Instagram. Stay tuned for details and get your bids ready…It’s a great cause!
PARKING: Please helps us maintain good relations with our neighbors by stacking cars efficiently in the long north driveway. If there is no more space there, please utilize parking spots directly in front of our house before parking elsewhere on the street.
