Open Group Mentoring 10/29/24 1-4pm (intermediate to advanced)
Open Group Mentoring 10/29/24 1-4pm (intermediate to advanced)
This is a small, camaraderie-oriented, group working and mentoring session at Robin’s home studio with 3-4 intermediate/advanced artists in attendance (some sessions are open to beginners, too! Levels listed in the date/title). You can sign up for one session (or a couple, or all of them, when multiple are offered) as you wish!
You may bring any projects (drawing, painting, sketchbook, composition/ideation, etc) you are currently working on that you'd like instruction with, including career and professional projects. Similarly, the other attendees will be working on their own independent projects. I will spend the three hours circulating among members of the group, offering instruction, feedback, and demos, and leaving you time to make progress and incorporate suggestions on your own and convene with other artists between my visits. Artists are encouraged to engage with others in the group!
When it seems beneficial in terms of similar work or goals, we might convene as a group for a demo or a group discussion/critique.
Because of the group nature of this mentoring session, it is only available to intermediate (or very advanced beginner) and advanced artists unless otherwise stated in the title/date section. If you are just starting out and looking for instruction as a beginner, please email me about joining my waiting list for private lessons, or keep an eye on my newsletter for group class offerings! If you’re not sure or have questions, just send me an email.
Cost: $115 per student for the full three hour session. You will receive a confirmation email from SquareSpace when you book—please keep this email for reference!
**Please note that a minimum of two people must be signed up 48 hours in advance for a given session to run. If you are signed up for a session that ends up being cancelled for this reason, I will notify & refund you. Please read the class policies before you register.
